Dorsey, Anna Hanson, Washington, District of Columbia, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1882
Scope and Contents
Dorsey informs Hudson that she is moving and gives a lengthy description of her new home. She promises to send a story by December first and asks for an advance. Dorsey wrote to Maurice Francis Egan, but has not heard from him because he probably never received the letter due to an incorrect address. A personal interview with Mrs. Madeleine Dahlgren will be satisfactory and Dorsey thinks Mrs. William Sherman would help Hudson in the object in view. Dahlgren and Sherman are not on terms and did not speak for sometime after a remarkable correspondence. A clipping is enclosed. :: X-2-i A.L.S. 5pp. 12mo.
