 Item — Box: CHUD 4
Identifier: CHUD X-2-i

Scope and Contents

Murphy has been occupied with giving missions and retreats. While he was at Knock, three pilgrims witnessed an apparition of the Blessed Virgin on the feast of Saint Aloysius, to whom the people and their pastor, Archdeacon B. A. Cavanagh have special devotion. Murphy considers this apparition at a time when Ireland is passing through a crisis, as having significance in the designs of God. He has commenced writing the story entitled "Eily O'Connor". :: X-2-i A.L.S. 8pp. 16mo.
