Ebner sent Hudson a few items of news regarding a visit from their Vicar Apostolic. Ebner married a full blooded Indian couple this morning with a Nuptial Mass. The man is called Frank Okicitamain Walking Soldier and the girl Maggie Oicage Growth. The couple attended the Indian Mission School and are fervent Christians. The ceremony was attended by Indians and whites. The agent, Major and Mrs. James McLaughlin stood as witnesses. It is very consoling to see the Indians understanding marriages performed as a divination.
