He believes that he and Hudson would recognize each other if they were to meet. He thanks Hudson for the photograph and thinks it is a most finished piece of work. He cannot make the longed for trip to Notre Dame because of the great distance, and everytime he takes a trip he suffers an illness afterwards. But God is good and they may yet see one another face to face. He asks Hudson if it is worthwhile to have a translation copyrighted as some papers would use it if they did not have to pay for it.
