Father Hennemann wrote a letter of condolence to Mrs. Howe after hearing of the death of Rose Howe . Father Hennemann will leave Little Rock and return to Europe and of course is bound by obedience to go. He has no hope of visiting Notre Dame or seeing Father Hudson again, but he gives his thanks for the many kindnesses that have been shown to him by Notre Dame and by Hudson. He will try to send something back of interest for the Ave Maria. N.B. His health is improving steadily and is better now than he has been in years.
