Howe, Rose B.F., Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1877 August 27
Scope and Contents
While she and her mother are in Canada she asks that her Ave Maria be sent to her sister. Except for a grammatical error which she noticed she is satisfied with the manner in which her last article was printed. Because she in aware of the severe censure which English writers pass on American literature these errors, however slight, are very annoying to her. She asks that Hudson pray that her conclusion to "The Tomb of St. Dominic" which she intends to write this week may prove satisfactory. Due to the intercession of the Sacred Heart and Blessed Virgin her health is showing daily improvement. She repeats her request from her last letter concerning Louise Lateau. :: X-2-d A.L.S. 4pp. 12mO.
