He encloses a manuscript for the Ave Maria along with a short article concerning the fact that Pope Pius IX has sent his special Apostolic Benediction to Murray besides showing his approval of Murray's book, "History of the Catholic Church in the United States", by including it in his private library. Murray does not believe he deserves this recognition but he is very grateful for it.
