Greene sends an original poem, wishes that it may honor Our Blessed Mother. He thanks Hudson for sending the Ave Maria so regularly, and requests two copies of the issue in which his poem will appear. There is a story entitled "The Picture of the Blessed Virgin", written by Mary Howitt, which Greene thinks Hudson could use in his "Children's Department".
