The best they can do in the matter of advertising is to take one-half in cash and one-half in advertising in the Ave-Maria. Their prices are $50. per page and $30. per half-page. If Hudson accepts these terms he should notify them immediately, for their advertising space is almost all taken, but they will try to squeeze in his advertisement. The advertising forms go to press next week. They thank Hudson for his encouragement, and assure him that the support already accorded, both in the way of subscriptions and promises of manuscripts from the most prominent writers, places the success of the new enterprise beyond doubt.
