Gilmour received the "Memoirs" of Bishop Louis Amadeus Rappe . He cannot give Clarke much in the way of pastorals, and addresses written by himself, for Clarke's collection. Most of them were published in the Catholic Universe, only a few in pamphlet form, and that by the private enterprise of Father Patrick F. Quigley of Toledo who could furnish Clarke with copies.
