Scope and Contents
Clarke's photograph has arrived and everyone is pleased with it. Especially Edwards because he was the cause. It will be framed and put in the gallery of eminent Catholic laymen. Edwards hopes to have an oil painting taken from the photograph. He wants Clarke to come to Notre Dame. He seeks Catholic Directories before 1854. All but 6 pictures of the 69 Bishops consecrated for sees in the United States have been received. Edwards lists the name of the bishops whose portraits he still needs adding also that of Bishop Barron. :: I-2-n A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
