Conway, Father P.J., Chicago, Illinois, to Richard Henry Clarke, New York, New York, 1883 July 24

 Item
Identifier: CRCL I-2-n

Scope and Contents

Conway delayed answering Clarke's of July 11 as Father P.M.O'Regan, the nephew of Bishop O'Regan, was away. O'Regan will refresh his mind on the facts on his uncle and will forward them to Clarke. Father John Foley pastor of St. Martin's Church, Baltimore, brother of Bishop Thomas Foley would be the best source of information on Bishop Foley. Conway gives O'Regan's address. O'Regan had a precise knowledge of Bishop O'Regan's handling of Church property during his short administration of the diocese. Foley was also conversant with his brother's work there. :: I-2-n A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo.
