Gallagher acknowledges the receipt of Jack's letter of Dec. 10, 1886 and his remittance of $100. He was glad to see that amount, and is sure James Alphonsus McMaster was also. The week has been good financially. McMaster speaks of going to Baltimore tomorrow night, a trip which will do him good. Gallagher finds nothing else of interest to write about.
