Boutwell, E. B., Washington, D. C., to James Alphonsus McMaster, New York, New York, 1871 July 13
Item
Identifier: CMMA I-1-o
Scope and Contents
Boutwell can sympathize with McMaster upon the death of Mrs. McMaster for he too had lost his wife the December before. No other earthly trial can compare to the loss of a good and devoted wife. God intended it for the best and as a reward for two of His good and faithful servants. The consolation that they both can take however is that there are in Heaven two Angels watching their struggles in this land of probation. :: I-1-o A.L.S. 3pp. 8vo.
