Identifier: CMMA I-1-n

Scope and Contents

Father Garesche thanks McMaster for his partiality in filling his columns with the letters from Garesche, and asks that the enclosed sermon, an impromptu sermon given at a funeral, and taken down, might be printed in the Freeman's Journal. He wonders is something couldn't be done about the practice of extemporaneous sermons for the dead. and feels that if sermons must be made, that they be made some time ahead, and then justice could be done the subject. P.S. He mentions a successful mission in Chicago just completed and lists the number of communicants. :: I-1-n A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
