Cheverus says that if he left them there to learn English they would lose their faith. Bruté will be their guardian angel. He sends the respects of Father Francis Matignon. He unites with him to salute Bruté's faculty. Cheverus intends in two months and a half to make a mission in Newcastle and surroundings in Maine.
