LaMontagne sends copies of a legal claim against Father Isidore Anthony Lebel of Kalamazoo, by Laurent Chabot for whom he has been attorney for many years. Demand for payment has already been made to Lebel without any reply. He asks Borgess' help to obtain the balance of the claim. Lebel's money circumstances are prosperous.
