Scope and Contents

Beerhorst has now been in the Detroit Diocese five years and three months. He asks permission to go to Milwaukee to make a retreat in order to determine whether or not he should join a religious congregation — he has in mind the Jesuits in St. Louis. He had this idea even in the American College in Louvain as the rector, Father De Neve, will recall. He asks that a priest be sent to care for his congregation for two or three Sundays. He has several Lutherans under instruction. :: III-2-l A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
