Scope and Contents

He encloses a letter from his friend and benefactor of the American College in Louvain . He asks Lefevere to send him a few lines, and DeNeve will pay all expense; he asks a few lines to George Schwarz recommending the college. They have retreat on Aug. 9, ordinations at Mechlin on the 16th and 17th. Bishop Modeste Demers has been with them for a week, and Bishop Martin John Spalding for 2 days; he is now with Father James Pulsers at Haaren. Enclosure:
