On Feb. 26th, upon receipt of Lefevere's letter, Emonds sent Father August Durst to Detroit to get either a leave of absence or an exeat. Since then Emonds has not heard anything of Durst but he receives letters and papers for him from Detroit which leads Emends to think Durst is not with Lefevere.
