Scope and Contents
Divine Providence having deigned to bless them, the Council of the Association of the Propagation allots for 1856, without any reduction to Detroit, 8,000 francs of which 3000 francs were advanced to Father Peter Kindekens on July 6, 1856. The increasing number of Missions and their destitution, often extreme, binds him to recommend anew to the Association of the Propagation in order that its charity will be increased, with new gifts. :: III-2-i A.D.S.
