Choiselat learned from Lefevere's letter of February 25th that his letter of April 17th did not reach him. Below Lefevere will find a copy of that letter and will see that it contained the first and second copies of the form for a draft for 4,600 francs, 50 centimes, the allocation to Detroit for 1854. He hastens to enclose a third and fourth copy of the form which can be destroyed if the first ones have reached him. He has credited the $363.44 which Lefevere announced had been collected for his diocese. The business of 1855 being closed, it will count for 1856.
