Brownson, who consoles him since he is alone in the world. Some years ago the Jesuits in the Civilta attacked Cesare Cantu, who asked the Archbishop of Milan to point out anything wrong, and was vindicated. Cantwell reflects on the natural human weaknesses of bishops and his own faith.
