Campbell, John H., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to William H. Hughes, Detroit, Michigan, 1889 November 19
Item
Identifier: CBRH III-3-d
Scope and Contents
He owes an apology for not answering Hughes' letter about his paper on temperance. Because he was so overwhelmed with business he could not write the paper before November 10, and he had it set up in type and did not get a copy until November 12; he tried to find Hughes but failed. His law business takes so much time, that he has to literally steal time to edit the C.T.A. News or do any temperance work. He refuses to furnish his picture—he has never furnished it for publication. :: III-3-d A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
