Dahlgren has received volume 18 of Brownson's Works and is sorry that they are not selling well She has considered for some time writing a Catholic novel but has had no encouragement from the Catholic press. She has just finished a novel on race prejudice which will begin to appear serially in the Brooklyn Magazine in October; and she has begun another novels.
