Bishop John Fitzpatrick is not as well as usual this morning. Yesterday he received a letter from Archbishop Martin John Spalding of Baltimore of which the enclosed no enclosure is a portion. Their diocese is at present in great straits for priests because of sickness and absence and the Bishop finds it impossible to spare one.
