DeNeve thanks McFarland for his letter of February 22, and by it he is authorized to submit the seminarians of McFarland to the Archbishop of Mechlin for ordination, but he also must have power to adopt these men into the diocese of Hartford. He also must have power from McFarland to admit them from the other dioceses into the Hartford diocese.
