This photo was published in Notre Dame Alumnus, Year End 1963, with the caption “ND Trustee Alfred Stepan '31, Mrs. Stepan and son John joined Bishop Mark McGrath, C.S.C. '45 (at right) as guests of the lieutenant governor on a tour of the Panama Canal in August. The visit was too short for a full Club gathering.”
