General

Correspondence pertains to controversy surrounding an article by Will Oursler, published in Parade Magazine in which he misrepresented Eugene Kennedy's views on the celibacy of the clergy. Includes a copy of the telegram Kennedy sent requesting a retraction of his misrepresented views; correspondence pertaining to an agreement with Parade Publications, Inc.; and a copy of the article Kennedy wrote on the subject of clerical celibacy which was to be published in Parade Magazine but never was.
