General

Letter. He didn't make it all the way to Franci, because he stopped to pay a visit at the Köszegi family. Ottó has made up a name for himself, Pécsi Ottó, to explain to ALG, in coded language, his decision to ask for an emigrant visa to leave Hungary legally. It is too risky to escape Hungary through thr border. But ALG is concerned that the legal application process might take too long, and in addition there is a great chance that Ottó will be denied the visa. Ottó, however, is not a deserter. He wants to come back and visit Hungary any time he wants to. His passport/visa application is in quite good shape, anyway, and he is looking forward to join his brother soon. Hungarian
