Chapter. Describes the CO as a social deviant. Discusses the "Chapel Group" at the camp which he describes as "Thomists" and who were led by "Mother Pat" Meany. Also, discusses the men at the camp who had been involved in the Catholic Worker movement prior to entering the camp. In addition, Gordon touches on the divergent reasons why people rejected military service despite the dominant Catholic affiliation of the camp . Finally, ends by discussing four groups: the "college boys and intellectuals", "the artists", "the disrupters", and "the workers". ~ MA
