Letter. Letter from Tom to Fr. Davignon of World Justice and Peace. ~ Tom writes to say that he cannot attend the hearing to consider international issues relevant to the work of the Bishop's Bicentennial Program on Liberty and Justice for All, but he does want to submit some items for the record: The report of The Holy See to the United Nation's Committee on the review of the role of the UN in the field of disarmament, a disarmament petition being circulated by FOR, and an article called "In Arms We Trust?" published by FOR. He explains FOR as an organization and its views, and makes specific recommendations for the hearing. He asks that Gordon Zahn be permitted to read the documents to the conference and that they be included with papers submitted to the conference.
