Letter to Dr. Robert Weiss, Chairman of the Sociology Department regarding her reappointment for the next semester. ~ Joyce claims that she has suffered from discrimination as a member of a minority, and harrassment since she filed a claim of discrimination. She says that this has hampered her performance in the last semester of her teaching at U of Mass. She says that since she has been teaching there for 5 semesters that all of her student evaluations should be reviewed, not just ones from the most recent semester. She cites other complaints about her employment at U of Mass, and says that the University has interfered with her ability to perform at her usual level of competence.
