Book Review. Gordon writes that "It is not an easy book to read if only because so much of its message is couched in poetic and esoteric, often overly obsure, abstractions and generalization. . . I cannot challenge its applicability, but it left me wondering whether a direct statement of the argument in terms and concepts more familiar to the Christian audience to whom the book is presumably addressed might not have made his point with far greater clarity . . . ."
