Correspondence. War and violence, in his opinion, are a repudiation of Christ's teachings. It is the Christian's duty to reject war and to discover alternatives. He does not see the well-being and fulfillment of Christ's community as being bound to a particualr form of government. Communist practice deserves to be condemned--not for political reasons, but for its departure from Christian principles and ideals.
