General

Correspondence. A letter to Gordon (with several pieces of attached correspondence). ~ Birnly is angered by the fact that Gordon has accused our country of practising "post-natal abortion and post-pubertal infanticide. " Birnly thinks Gordon is using "sociological gobbledegook" to say: "Hey, hey, LBJ! How many kids did you kill today?" Birnly feels that Gordon should be addressing the basic moral problem of whether or not modern warfare, with its inevitable civilian casualities is ever justified for any reason.
