" Birnly thinks Gordon is using "sociological gobbledegook" to say: "Hey, hey, LBJ! How many kids did you kill today?" Birnly feels that Gordon should be addressing the basic moral problem of whether or not modern warfare, with its inevitable civilian casualities is ever justified for any reason.
