General

Document. Book review of NAZI CULTURE edited by George L. Mosse ~ Zahn gives a semi-favorable review, pointing out the shortcomings and omissions of NAZI CULTURE while also pointing out that it serves as a good starting point for an exploration of cultural systems. Zahn agrees with the author in that much of the Nazi propaganda was an exaggeration of acceptable values, and states that the book can open our minds to the possibility that what happened in Germany could happen again under the right conditions. ~ The Critic ~ August-September ~ 53-55
