Document. Letters to the Editors of the National Catholic Reporter. One letter from each man listed above. ~ Both Jordan's and Furfey's letters appeared in the May 8, 1966 issue and Gordon Zahn's letter appeared in the June 1, 1966 issue. All of the letters are xeroxed onto one page. ~ Placid Jordan writes to the Editors to criticize Gordon Zahn's book and to refute some of the statements / allegations made within the book. Msgr. Paul Hanly Furfrey writes to comment on past letters written to the Editors in which he was mentioned. One of the letters is that of Placid Jordan. Msgr. Furfey defends his own references to Gordon Zahn which Placid Jordan had brought into question. The third letter to the Editors is from Gordon Zahn.
