Critique. Zahn feels that the pope is displayed in an uncharitable light, but that Americans must look past that. Zahn hopes that Americans can watch this play and judge it for its artistic and historical merit or dismerit. He further hopes that it can be used to display America's maturity in accepting religious pluralism.
