Postmaster General Arthur E. Summerfield spoke to some 300 persons Thursday at the dedication of the new postal substation on the St. Joseph College campus in Rensselaer, Ind. Seated behind Summerfield are Mrs. Charles A. Halleck, wife of Congressman Halleck of Rensselaer; Fr. A Maziarz, C.PP.S., academic dean of St. Joseph's; Very Rev. Raphael H. Gross, C.PP.S., president of the college; Herbert C. Rumble of Cincinnatti, regional operations director; Wendell Martin, Rensselaer, postmaster; Congressman Halleck, who is a member of the St. Joseph Board of Lay Trustees; Lawrence Wallace, LaFayette postal inspector; Very Rev. Leonard J. Kostka, C.PP.S., superior of the Society of Precious Blood at St. Joseph's; Robert Brown, superintendent of the branch post office at St. Joseph's, Gerald Rishling, branch postal clerk; and Mary Myers, Rensselaer postal clerk.
