A complete set of five profusely illustrated unused envelope covers which use the sport of boxing as a metaphor for the political and military conflict between the United States of America and the rebellious Confederate States of America in 1861. The images on each envelope depict the ultimately victorious President of the United States Abraham Lincoln and the President of the Confederate States of America Jefferson Davis in a boxing match.
