Scope and Content The collection consists of one and a half boxes of black and white negatives. The majority were taken for the student publications Scholastic magazine and the Dome yearbook. The photograph archivists made identifications in the finding aids where the photos were found to be published.
Scope and Content These photographs (negatives, contact sheets, and slides) cover Notre Dame campus and student life, 1970-1974. They include sporting events, lectures, concerts, cenic views of campus, students, professors, administrators, Vietnam war protests, various campus events, some student trips, and scenes of downtown South Bend. Photographs taken after 1974 focus more exclusively on Notre Dame sports, especially basketball.
